Education:

Oklahoma is one of six states whose education system is directly funded by the State Treasurer. This gives the State complete jurisdiction over all education in Oklahoma. According to National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) — despite more funds being poured into the education system — Oklahoma's high school dropout rates are approaching 25% and discipline issues in public school classrooms are climbing. Every child in Oklahoma deserves an opportunity to receive a high-quality, core education in a safe environment. An education that is not only determined by a partnership of local district staff and parental input but one that proves to be a sound investment for taxpayers, and a firm foundation that equips students to make quality choices for their future as productive adults that contribute to the future of our great state.

The Private Sector:

Our small businesses are being choked out by needless taxes and intrusive government regulations. A free market system is what we were given by our Founding Fathers, it’s what works, and that's what we need to preserve. I understand what drives the economy and what stifles it. Capitalism is the only fuel that will ignite a truly prosperous economy. High taxes, regulations, and government intrusion in the market place will stop production and investment. Too many politicians believe in government programs that “help grow” business. I believe the individual knows better what his business needs than politicians. With that in mind I pledge to protect the individual’s rights to expand and drastically improve the economy, based on what is best for business development.

The Value Of Life:

Our State's future is being threatened by a breakdown of our God given rights as humans and freedoms as citizens. I promise to protect the lives of every individual, no matter what. Every citizen should have the same right to life. From the unborn to the elderly, there are no exceptions. I will stand tall in the face of adversity to protect each individual. I am 100% Pro-Life and nothing will change that.

Transportation:

Oklahoma has the eighth worst major road system in the nation according to The Road Information Program (TRIP) www.tripnet.org. A well designed and serviced transportation system improves public safety and ensures economic growth. We must redirect funds going to the general revenue such as car tags, license, gasoline and diesel taxes, and place them back into the transportation budget. There they must be used as intended; to build and maintain roads and bridges.

Immigration:

The ever-growing issues of illegal immigration must be promptly addressed. The United States was founded with a belief in freedom for all, but conditions for that freedom were also assigned. Since the federal government has neglected its responsibility in dealing with foreign or domestic invasion, it is time for state leaders to step up and assume this responsibility. No one in our state, neither citizen nor guest, should be exempt from our laws.

Taxes:

According to the Oklahoma Tax Commission, Oklahomans are losing over fifty percent of our incomes due to taxes by our government. Culturally, we have lost the sense of a self-sustaining people and have become a society that relies on government to "help" us. This was never the intended role of government; governments were set up to protect and defend. Tax cuts are a must if we are to regain efficiency in government services. Government funding towards social services and education needs to decrease to ensure more money in the pockets of the people. Ensuring and expanding economic development, job creation and investment opportunities will only come when we tax less.
